Alright. So half of france is on strike right now right? Now, I dont need to talk about the good things and bad things about striking, so we are going to skip this. but anyways, French people get paid leave for striking right? does that mean that they can't get fired for striking? So anyways, i don't think people should get paid 100% for striking, maybe 25% or something.

My friend thinks that it is nearly impossible to get fired from a job in france. I am wondering if this is true at all. I dont think so, but i thought i would ask people who would know! french people. you can get fired from jobs for inadequate performance at your job right? thanks!!! bye!

overall, I'd say college is better than high school.

Lets see...i go to college at a place called Humboldt State University.
It is in northern California, (which is on the west coast of the US).
I live in the middle of the redwood forest, and am five minutes away from the beach, the redwoods are incredible trees that grow to immense sizes. They are the tallest trees in the entire world, and the forest is majestic. It's really neat because all i can see from my windows is the forest, so every day i wake up to an incredible view!!! The picture is of the forest, and is taken by...me!

The campus is in a city called Artcata. the cool thing about Arcata is that it is really liberal!!! haha, so we have no chain stores (like McDonalds, or Hollister) or anything like that! Every store is a local store and money stays in the community! Also, i eat real well here because the food is all organic! so that is really cool. the produce is grown by local farmers, and then we get to eat it!!! haha anyways, thats a brief overview of where i go to school, maybe next time ill get into some class details!!! so until then...aurevior!

Alright, so today. I'm talking about grumpy people. It seems that lately my entire life has been centered around grumpy people, and im getting a little fed up with it so im gonna write about it! haha....

So I totally understand the fact that people just have bad days. Everyone has them. You know, when nothing seems to go your way? When no matter what you do, everything always turns out wrong? Ya, everyone has bad days. What gets me is when people take out their bad days on everyone around them. Just because you arent happy on a certain day does not give you the right to make everyone around you have a bad day too! It annoys me so much when people just sulk all day, not speaking to anyone, and not letting anyone help them get out of their bad day! Its like you are just stuck in grumpy, and you want to be in it! Take my boss for instance. He is grumpy pretty much every day. Instead of just keeping his bad day to himself, he takes it out on everyone who is working! It pretty much sucks. It isnt any of our faults he has to be at work, so why does he just bitch to everyone and make everyone else's day worse? I dont freaking know!! Because he is so mean to everyone, nobody likes him! that just makes him more grumpy, and makes work less tolerable. It just annoys me when people ruin everyone else's day just because they dont feel spectacular! haha, moving on.

Ah. life. its pretty grand. most of the time. So I work on top of a mountain and thats pretty swell. the people up there are all pretty cool, and so is everything else. except the hours! ah, they are terrible! I wake up at five oclock in the morning, and then I get home at five oclock in the evening! That make me tired. which makes me stupid. haha. my real problem with the job though, is that i feel as though i am wasting my summer vacation. All i do is work, and then go to sleep. So summer is going by real fast right now, which is not very happy. cause i love summer. Another major problem i have with the job right now is that my neighbor (meredith-aka-tony) has a friend from france staying at her house right now. Normally, i would be upset at my lack of time with mer and fran, but with their friend there i am even more upset! because she is way cool and only here for three weeks. So basically, i dont like not being able to hang out with my friends. Also, i figured i should write something yep yep. those are my thoughts for today. au revoir!
